"Momentos Especiales"
I worked this page with the beautiful Blush collection. My title is the new Spanish chipboard word "Momentos Especiales" that means Special Moments that goes perfect with this lovely memory of my kids, here is my daughter's first birthday.
I selected the Chunky Heart Panel chipboard to create the background and made it different techniques that you will see in the video tutorial.

I painted the chipboard title "Momentos Especiales" with two vintage color tones and embossed with the new oatmeal color.

I traced the hearts chipboard with a marker to enhance it and create dimension.

Projects with Angelica

Hello everyone! I'm sharing today my final projects as a BFS design team member. It's been an amazing and fun year!  I'm so honored to have had the opportunity to design for such a wonderful company!

I made this layout using the Autumn Anthology collection.  I started with the Newsworthy paper as my background and layered then Penmanship on top.  I painted the Large Roman Clock, Damask Panel and Spring branch chipboard pieces with gesso. Then lightly misted with the Leaf mist.

For this layout I used the Frolic collection. Such pretty soft colors!  I did some layering with the Secretary paper. Then used some pieces of the Calling Cards and Dans de Jardin. Again, I painted the Floral Lattice Bits, Timeless Floral Corner, and Petite Windows with gesso. They sprayed using the leaf and Cotton Candy Mist.

So, I've used up all of the Vintage Christmas Papers that were sent to me! I decided to make a quick card using a scrap piece of the Wonderland paper.  This is my take on the sketch using the Gingerbread House Chipboard. I used a thick uneven coat of Heavy Gesso and sprinkled colored glitter glass while still wet.

Thanks for stopping by during this busy holiday season!

Christmas cards and a mixed media canvas from Zanka

Hello!
Today I'm gonna show you some of my first Christmas cards made for this season. They are all based on the same idea and composition but I played with the whole colour scheme of Vintage Christmas line - so I have the green, the red and a combo of both .
All cards are decorated with a mix of plain and glittered or embossed chipboard pieces and trust me, there are no dimensional flowers - only cut outs from the BFS papers! It's easy to create an illusion of dept with the layers of embellishments, while the cards are relatively flat and easy to post.

Supplies: papers Vintage Christmas, BFS glitter Pyrite, BFS embossing powder Cotton pink, chipboards : Blue fern frame (piece) , Floral lattice bits, Garden lattice bits, Twiggy branch, Mini flourishes.

My last November project is a mixed media canvas - I had a blast with this one, layering the paper strips, laces, chipboards and embellishments. Chipboard pieces are brushed with a white texture paste.

Supplies: papers Vintage Christmas, Frolic. BFS mists: Cotton candy, Winter mint. Chipboards Swirly circle, Garden lattice bits, Ironwork edges.

Thanks for staying here for a moment & have a great day!

Vintage Christmas with Video Tutorial by Marilyn Rivera

Hello everyone!  Marilyn here with you today sharing two projects and a video tutorial using the new collection Vintage Christmas.  I had a lot of fun playing with the new Blue Fern products glitter, embossing powder and mist.
For my first project, I chose the Sparkle Wreath and the Word Ornaments chipboards that I gave a coat of gesso and then I misted with the new Imagine Ink- Cotton Candy, you will see all my creative process in the video tutorial.

I used the Vintage Christmas-Noel paper and I loved the back side that has gold and red color tones that mix perfect with the mist, glitters and embossing powders.

Supplies list:
Vintage Christmas-Noel
 Imagine Ink-Cotton Candy
Imagine Ink- Glitters- Phoenix, Pyrite
 Sparkle Wreath, Word Ornaments-chipboards
Stamp- Textures 1

Now enjoy the video tutorial!!

"A Moment in Time"
My second project is inspired in the beautiful November sketch designed by Michele Singh.

I selected The Magical and Deck the Halls papers to make this page about my nieces with the beautiful French Ironwork and for my title the "A Moment in Time" chipboard. I embossed both chipboards with the Petal- embossing powder that has glitter and create a nice effect on the chippies.

I placed the French Ironwork chipboard behind my photos.

After I embossed my title I distressed the edges with a pen marker.

I punched the paper and draped one of the paper to create a design inspired in the sketch.

Supplies list:
Vintage Christmas: Magical and Deck the Halls papers
French Ironwork chipboard, A Moment in Time Chipboard
Imagine Ink- Embossing Powder- Petal

November Projects with Angelica

Hello there, scrappy friends! I can't believe that Christmas is almost here!! Divulging in the Christmas spirit I have 3 projects to share using the new Vintage Christmas Collection.

This page is based on the November Sketch. I used the Deck the Halls paper as my background and left over scraps of the Magical paper for the layering. I used a card from the Greeting Card paper as my photo mat. For the French Iron Works and Winter Title Magical I painted with gesso, lightly sprayed with Cotton Candy mist, and used Phoenix glitter for that sparkle.

Winter pages are always fun to make because I love the sparkle! For this page I used Wonderland for my background paper. I did some masking and used Sky and Cool Mint mist. I also used the Greeting Card paper(love the sheet....a must have) and  Auld Lang Syne. The chipboard pieces, Holiday Frame and Framed Winter words, were painted with gesso and misted.

Instead of another layout I wanted to do something different. So, I made this pocket using a glassine bag. I cut out a bunch I tags from the Greeting cards paper, made a larger tag with Noel paper and tucked them inside the pocket. I used the Wild Flourish bundle for the front of the pocket and the Winter Title Noel. I used Leaf and Cotton Candy mist.

This is the pocket without the tags inside. I used the Noel Papers to cover the bag.

Thanks stopping by!
